Hi I'm having problems trying to logging to windows 2000 server from the workstations. I gave a message that says the "local policy of this system does not permit you to logon interactively" how do I fix that??

Thanks

Hi,

you have to check the local security policy either on your server or your workstation. Open the MMC with the local security policy and check the settings under Local Policies - User Rights Assignment - Log on locally. There you can add the users who have the right to log on the machine. If you have an AD Domain these settings can also be done in the Default Domain Policy. But you should be carefull editing this Policy. Better try building a new policy affecting only one OU to test policy settings.

Tell me if it worked
