We are having a ton of toruble with this issue. I realize that 6.5 sp2 is not certified by Attachmate when running under windows 2000. However, upgradeding to verison 7 is not an option for us at this time.

When our users try to use the print screen functions and print to a network or local printer the session crashes. We have tried everything, differnt drivers to network cards. We installed SP2 and thought this worked, but the error cropped up again, today. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I did read some erros users were having wiht XP and beleive they are the same. I jsut wnat to make sure we have tried everyhitng before I tell my team what the next step is. Thanks

Hi,
We have encoutered problems on this in the past as well. As I recall it was fixed by using a different normal.dot file. This file is the template file used by MS word. You will need to close all MS Office apps before replacing this file, and I would also advise you rename the current normal.dot to normal.dot.bak in case you want to restore the original. Sorry I can't be of more help on specifics, but hopefully this will guide you in the right direction! Best of luck though... Extra 6.5 is pretty buggy under Win2K.

I just got this information off of this site.
Thought it might help.
In Extra go to Printer settings and delete all header and footer info. just leave it blank.
I can't remeber the guys name who posted it but it was helpful to me.

Just to let you know, I have the exact same issue with v7 on win2k. I'm going to try jleggett99's suggestion since I do not have any admin rights.

jleggett99's suggestion worked like a charm. I just printed a screen for the first time since swithcing from Hummingbird over a year ago.
