I have a domain based in a windows 2000 server, and i have a BDC in windows NT.
if i depromote windows 2000 server, i lost domain information( users, etc.)?????

HI,

According to me if you are having Win2k domain controller and Win Nt BDC. And if your replication is proper between them then there willbe no problem. In general, Active Directory changes can be made at any domain controller in a domain and those changes will be automatically replicated to all of the other domain controllers in the domain.

Hi! Run net accounts /sync to synchronize controllers, then demote PDC. I think in this case you will have to promote BDC to PDC. Question---why would you want to demote 2000?
Good Luck!
