Windows 2000 Compatibility with Crystal Reports 8.5

We are having difficulties in our office getting the Windows 2000 Operating System to work with Crystal Reports 8.5. Looks like we will be changing to Windows XP.

Curious to know if anyone else has experienced this problem.

I also has windows 2000 with crystal 5,6,7 and 8.5 installed and have never had a problem. Software Support for Macola, Crystal Reports and Goldmine

I wish I could be more specific.

I talked to a member of our technical staff, and the issue involves the Windows 2000 operating system and a stored procedure. That is all we know. Our third party consultant is talking to Crystal Decisions to resolve it.

What database are you using?

I've used SQL Server (6.5-2000) and Oracle (8 - 9i) SP's from within Windows 2000 using Crystal 8.5.

There are sometimes settings and specific ODBC drivers required, but it works eventually...

Pass along what the problem is, and why the consultant believes it to be related to Windows 2000.

I kind of agree with SV. I have used SPs for MS SQL Server and Pervasive with no issues. In fact the only issues I have ever had with SPs are the ODBC drivers and/or their setup. Software Support for Macola, Crystal Reports and Goldmine
