Windows 2000 back to Windows 98

Just purchased a Sony 505 superslim notebook and the left mouse button on the touchpad doesn't work. Couldn't find any indication of Versapad software or driver and don't have recovery cd's. Also what is the proceedure to go from Windows 2000 Professional back to Windows 98? Thanks

Back up of data, fdisk to FAT32(You have Win2k in NTFS?)
and clean reinstallation of Win98 OS, then restore your data.

Or get your hands on some recovery disks.. That is the optimum solution..
