I used the windowOpen command to open a window 700x500 on my desktop browser for several links. For some reason it just stopped working on all my forms and when I click nothing happens. I think it may have something to do with my OS and possibly a file deleted but cant figure out what could have happened. This happened once before and I had to reload the entire OS to get it to work and really dont want to have to do that again. I checked the browser options but this version doesnt have anything about javascript in it to enable. Does anybody have a n ide what may have happened.
thanks

HI,
I have been using these scripts for past year, 6 of them but other day they all stopped working. There must be something in browser or OS I think.
Is lther a place to run these and check them?? I tried your link thought that is what you ment.

We have been having issues with IE's popup blocker and popup's. They would open and close without hesitation.

If you have the same issue than you need to specify
Code:
resizable=1,scrollbars=1

in your window.open

For some strange reason which is beyond me; when specified at 0 the windows fail to open.

Hope this helps..

HI,
I tried your idea and also
<a href="Support/golf-din.jpg" onclick="window.open(this.href, 'child', 'width=750,height=600,scrollbars'); return false">
and
target="_blank"
and
<DIV><a href="Support/flof-din.jpg"onclick="window.open(this.href, 'child', 'width=750,height=600,resizable=1,scrollbars=1'); return false"><img src="[PATH]Support/quest.gif"style="position:absolute;right:10;top:120"height="320" width="290"></a></div>
but they just open a window with no page in it. Is there a way to turn of and off javascript in the browser lIE6.0? Perhaps somehow it got turned off and this wont even help because I have been using a window blocker the entire time and it has still worked until other day.

Is there a way to turn of and off javascript in the browser lIE6.0?"

Internet Options/Security/Internet

click on 'Custom Level' button..

HI again,
I know that way so I guess that isnt the problem unlesthere is another way.

Did you install XP SP2? This comes with a popup blocker.
