window update/problem with internet

hi
i have window 98.And window proposed me an update.I dowloaded it and i updated my computer.But now my internet connection is totaly bad ,i would like to deleat this update.How can i do that and go back like before.I red on yahoo that lot of other persons had the same problem.Thanks

Hmmm, I thought the problem update from the MS site only relates to Windows XP users. In your case, you might try going into add/remove programs and seeing what updates are listed. I know that the XP users just have to uninstall the bad update and the problem goes away. Here is a link that describes the update that caused the WIN XP problem...
