window.print problem

hi
i am using window().print method to print content of the browser

but in printing it also print page number at upper part of page .
so is there any way to not to print this page number in paper.

if anyone need image of page please do tell me

You can't control a user's browser settings unless they allow you to (ex. ActiveX). Putting an ActiveX control on your page will make that nasty permission popup show up everytime someone visits that page.

Your best bet is to work with whatever settings a person could have on their browser.

Eventually, with CSS, you will be able to have a lot more control over this, but it's not really supported yet.
