Hi All,
I'm trying to convert one of our Windows file servers over to a FreeBSD/Samba file server. I'm running FreeBSD 5.4 with Samba 3.0.14a installed from the ports tree.
I'm working out the initial kinks that I've been having. (Had to raise the sysctl's kern.maxfiles and kern.maxfilesperproc from above the default values. Then I had to disable level1 and level2 oplocks as well.)
So now my latest problem... Inside my winbind log I have a whole ton of these:
[2005/09/06 22:32:48, 0] nsswitch/winbindd.crocess_loop(693)
winbindd: Exceeding 200 client connections, no idle connection found
Our processing servers were having trouble connecting to this machine and I would 'assume' that the above error messages are the cause. I've searched the internet and found one other person having a similar issue but no responses.
Anybody here have any ideas?
Thanks,
Rich
