Hi,

I just ran into a problem and wanted to know whether anyone knows how to fix it. I have 2 accounts, 1 admin 1 limited user. On my admin account, winamp works perfectly. However, on my limited account, everytime it opens it seems to crash, what gives?

Thank you,

First, make sure you are using Winamp 5.
If so, see:

Apparently this version of Winamp was not designed to be 'Multiple User' friendly, and expects to be able to read/write to it's program files, regardless of which user starts it.

As a result you will need to enable read/write permissions for the Winamp program files directory.

The most likely path will be C:\Program Files\Winamp or similar

You may already know this, but I should mention at this point it is important to set permissions correctly. Giving a limited account extended access may solve your problems but can also expose you to security risks if applied incorrectly.

If you are not sure what you are doing, do some more research first!

Anyway, I hope this helps.
