win98 prints blank page with c//windows/temp at bottom...

I have a brother HL 1430 that recently started printing out blank pages with only the source of a temp file at the bottom. If I do a test page in the printer properties box it comes out just fine, but if I print anything else, IE, word, emails, etc. the whole page is blank except for this small file source at the bottom. Something like this: C://\\windows/temp/45872gdft.html.

I tried deleting all temp files but that didn't resolve it. It almost looks like it is trying to print but somehow looses the page in some silly temp file.

I would suggest as a first step, to delete the printer, re-boot and then re-install it.

Then open up a word document and press print preview and look if you see what is to be printed.

If you do, then check if the printer goes through the correct sequence before it prints the page.
