win98 network settings

Is it possible to build a .bat file that will change the win98 ID and IP settings? My web search only turned up an msbat.inf that isn't really what I wanted.

In my line of work we drop ship computers out that the naming and numbering is crucial to the software environment. I am looking to have desktop shortcuts to .bat files that the customer can pick the right one for the terminal that they are setting up.

Not my line but I've seen many snippets that invoke regedit import. I typed regedit import into Google and got

Trick would be to find all the relevant settings in the registry -- another Google challenge...
