i had this old computer that i put a 320 gb hard drive on (only recognized like 137 gb cuz it was win98se) and i just obtained this better computer with a 60gb hard drive with xp....is there a way to put the 320 with the 60 and turn win98se into win xp home???? i dont have the xp cd either...

Visit the hard drive manufacturers site for cloning software. Clone the 60GB hard drive and put it on the 320.

which hard drive?

the 320 is a maxtor diamondmax21
and the 60 is a western digital wd caviar

would it make the performance of my comp better if the 320 is the manster?

It might make it a little faster but its not going to make a big difference.

As for cloning I think you can use either one. Ive never actually used any of their software but I figure you can use either and clone it to the other. However your not going to notice a big improvement either way.

(says seagate as seagate owns maxtor now)
