Win98 freezes after being idol for 4+ hours

A windows 98 machine freezes when it is idol for 4+ hours. It is connected to a network. Power Management Properties/
Power Schemes were changed to Never (including System Standy, Turn off monitor and Turn off hard disks).

Any ideas on what else to look at?

Sounds like a possible memory leak. How much memory do you have, and how much C: space do you have left?

Also where is the machine stored? The machine could simply be overheating and hanging.

In power management, make "turn off hard disk" to Never.
