Did A fresh install of windows 98 joined it to the domain NT4 Server PDC.

Can map drives to the server fine...

But cannot add network printers or browse through network neighbourhood.

Anybody any ideas whats going on ???

Have you got IP addresses entered correctly?
What about the sub net mask?

Yes, All the network settings are correct, I'm able to browse the internet, I'm using the laptop now and able to map drives...

What protocols have you got installed?
Does the machine use its own IP or does it use DHCP to get an IP address?
Can you ping all the servers?
How are you trying to connect to the printers?
How do the printers connect to the network, do they use network cards?
Have you un-installed all network protocols, clients etc & re-installed them?
Do you have the latest driver for your network card?

Thanks for yuor help.

I had not added it to the Workgroup.

DOH

Sorry about this

Glad you managed to sort it out.
Easy mistake to make, I am sure we have all done it at least once.
