Win98 Cant Recognize OutExpress as default mail client

Hello,

After Microsoft Outlook was instaled and then uninstalled, Outlook Express is not recognize as default mail client.

1. Outlook Express dont appears in the drop down manu from Advanced internet configuration tab as Default mail client

2. Outlook Express Options acuse its not my default mail client and, when I choose to make OE default and clicks on OK nothing changes.

3. Going back in Tolls/Options OE says again: Outlook express is not your deafautl mail client...

Any registry trick to do?

open Internet Explorer
Go to Tools - Options - Programs - Here You can set the default email client.
If necessary do the reset web settings and yes..
Now it should work.

If still does not work..
Redo/Repair the IE installation/ Update the IE installation

Start, Run and type:
"C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\MSIMN.EXE" /REG

Including the quotation marks.
