i have a 3 two win98 and 1 win95 computer LAN we are useing the NetBEUI protcol. That works fine for transfering files (we can see eachother in network neighbor hood) we all also have TCP/IP protocol installed. But the win95 computer is not working with it. ie when i delete NetBUI the two win98 computers still work over network (transfering files and games) but the win95 computer doenst.
Any help or sugestions would be very helpful
by the way i am a network newbe :)
thanx

check the exact tcpip settings of all 3 and you will find a difference with the problem PC.

Recommend you use 192.168.0.x addresses using 1 then 2 then 3 for the x for each PC. Subnet mask 255.255.255.0 for each.

This should get you working.
