This file, I think, is ( DOS SCRIPT ) only for Windows XP.... Can I use in Windows 7?

Any way, I was puting disable everythings like firewals, Antivirus etc. to try it, but the problem persist....

Thanks....

did you stop the firewall service?
if you disable the firewall the service is still running causing problems sometimes.

Firewall service disable.... no running... but no audio call.....

I don`t know what can I do....

any idea?

Did you setup the audio settings on the softphone?
You need to select the mic and speakers when it cannot find it when you install it.

you will still need to turn off "Allow Direct Media Path" on the Soft Phone Extn / VoIP TAB

The config of the audio device appears correct. Any way, we was trying whith other option and the audio call is off.

Mic and speakers are correct. We are using other program like skype and Gtalk etc. and they are ok.

ok, we are now trying this, but, we have other problem. This user are in automatic creation because is a executive user and they have a Power User Licence. When the extension is in autocreate we can change anything in the extension that will be create automatic and in the normal extension, DIGITAL PHONE 1416, we can change anything about VOip.

Any way, for try it, I created a exclusive user for Softphone software and disable the direct path media and again no audio call.

In Windows XP we have not problems whit the same configuration and the same config.

and of course, I will must change the firmware version but now, I have this, and for the momento we can change it.

6.0.14 o 6.0.18 ? what's better?

Thank you.

Djmtrar.

Having Skype and phonemanager softphone running on the same machine often caused similar issues on vista/xp, perhaps video softphone doesn't like skype on windows 7 :)

Well, perhaps. I was trying close SKYPE to and Google TALK etc.. the first time when we detect the problem but the same. No audio call...

Perhaps we need unistall skype....? We will try but I'm not sure if this is the solution..... ;-(

Thanks.

I don't think Skype has anything to do with it, you need to have the following for a SIP Softphone will work:
A user with a Mobile or Power user license
A installed VCM card
A pc with soundcard etc.
Create a user with a unique username, phonenumber and the user msut have a login code, make sure that the option "call waiting" is enabled, DO NOT CREATE A SIP OR H.323 EXTENSION FOR THIS USER!
IP Office will create a temp SIP extension for the SIP Softphone, if a extension excists with the same telno then you have a problem.
Make sure the firewall is turned off on the PC and make sure port 5060 is free.
Then there should be no problem whatsover. I have tried the softphone on may Win 7 PC's without a problem.

Try it on a nice and clean fresh install.
Then see what happens.

By running, I meant installed on the PC, it still happened when closed. It seems to cause an issue by seizing the audio device and not releasing them, I think it's a windows/skype issue rather than the Avaya software but for some reason other apps get around it :)

For video softphone you do not need an additional user, it seizes the extn and logs the physical handset off, it uses the user password on the "User" tab not the login code in the telephony tab, and when you close it the user is automatically logged back into the hard phone (unless force login is ticked) :)

Thanks all for your answers. It's incredible and wonderful that the people helps other.

I know what I need and what I needt do to create a new extension for use SOTPFHONE. The problem in this case, is no audio in the softphone but in the other side of the call the user can listen you. The same user in Win XP it is ok and everything is ok.

Any way, I was trying whith a new installation of Win 7, clear, and softphone it's ok.

Then, I need investigate why in the old installation of Win 7 the audio call it's off. Perhaps any installation of any program, codecs, etc. etc.

Thanks, and I will be inform if I found the solution.

Thanks.

I had the same problem with the Skype, had to do with the audio codec/drivers skype used for the headset. Uninstalling is you only option. I think I also tried to change the headset settings in skype.

I had it the same with the latest Softphone on Win7.
The sound settings were ok (because the audio test option in SPhone passed successfully) and skype was correctly running too.

At the end I removed the double ip address I had set up on the PC NIC and now is running ok.
I believe it should be due to the different NICs management/behaviour in Win7, because I allways used multiple NIC IPaddress on WinXP too but without problems.

Hi ALL!!!!!!

Bingo!!!

ten point to "hibroth"....

The problem is two ips in the nic..... Delete one and ok, but whith two, the audio call it is off.

Perhaps if we declare the routes whith "addroute" command the problem get off....

ANY way.... AUDIO CALL OFF in SOFTPHONE whith Windows 7 it is going to solve, if you have two ips in you nic. Delete one of then and the audio calls will be all raigth.

Thanks all....!
