hi,
i have 2 computers runnning win2k proffesional and XP professional. i just want to share internet. when both were running on win2k i just checked on "share internet" in dsl cabel properties, it worked. when workgroup name is da same it has to show both computers with shared resources, isn't it! it's saying either the path is invalid or cannot open/access workgroup or sometimes it's showing own computer name under the workgroup, rediculous. i tried by assigning address, no use. can any one tell me about all those kinds of networking, i don't need server based networking any way. i know networking a bit but not a professional, i'm into programming so i can understand all those terms u network engineers speak. or just tell me how network these 2 computers.
thanks a lot
