I have three servers in my network. Two running NT 4.0Sp6 and a third running Win2kSp1 server. I would like to replace one of the NT servers with the Win 2k box, but I do not want to change all the servers to Win 2k because of incompatibility with Win2k. The box I would like to change out is my Exchange Server and PDC. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thank you,
TDK

Uninstall the WIn2K box, install it as a NT4 BDC, promote it to PDC, and upgrade it to Win2K
(first take an extra BDC down when your upgrade isn't working, so you can promote it back to PDC in case of problems)

If you decide on using Win2K as Domain Controller in your NT4 environment, you must upgrade the PDC first ! Peter Van Eeckhoutte
