Hey

Could osmeone please inform me if it is possible to use 2k professional as a domain controller

thanks in advance

Alex

I do not think it has the ability to function as a Domain Controller unless it is Win 2k Server. The domain controllers in 20000 must havw certain active directory components in the new domain scheme.

No.

No. About the only thing you can use Professional for, is a domain browser! ... and possibly an expensive clock..

:)

No, you can share files from it and have it "act" like a file server, but its really not meant to do that. Might be okay for home use, but not a professional setup.
