Hello,
I have 5 machines on a windows 2000 server network, 1 user with windows xp pro plays games a lot. The problem i am having is some games wont work when thay are logged into the domain but thay work ok when logged in to the local workstaton. I have installed these games with the administrator account on xp but when the user logs back on to the domain with a normal user account and tryes to play the games from his local computer i get errors like, "Insert the game CD" even tho the cd is in the drive?
Do i have to set the user rights in group policy on the server?
If so what user rights do i need to set?
I think it could be somthing to do with importing registry information but this wont work because the user only has a "Domain User" account on the server
