Win2k PC Powers ON by itself....

My girlfriends PC (running Win2k) turns itself on all by itself...how is this possible?? If the machine is off, at different times of the day it will power on - I am at a loss to explain to her how this could be -- she thinks it's ghost. Please help me so I can convince her it isn't!!!

Does it have a network card in it and is it connected to anything? If it is try turning off the WAKE-ON-LAN feature in the bios. This "feature" allows a remote user to turn on the PC.
