i have addes a pix 506 to my network and am having problems. the network is a win2k domain with 2 windows 2003 servers amd a win2k server. the windows 2000 servers can access the internet but nothing else can. its like a DNS error but i cant figure it out. when i put back my old firewall/router the problem goes away, help...... i have given the pix standard PAT/NAT config.

Can you post your configuration of the firewall?

Stay cool; it’s not over yet!

Here is my config, please can someone help my manager is going to make me pay for a consulatant is its not working by next weekend..... the servers with static (smtp, ftp, www) are win2003 and can access the internet. the other server win2k (no static) and the workstations cant access the internet or ping it.

Is it possible that one of the statics is using the IP address of your outside interface? I've seen this happen when that was the case.
