hello,
i have a NT4 Domain with exchange running on the PDC.
i want to move Exchange from the PDC to a member server.
1)I would like to know if a WIN2K server can be a member server in a NT domain?
2)Also how do i move the mail boxes from the PDC to the member server?( when installing exchange do i put it as "same site" and move mailboxes ?)
Thanks in advance
Regards,
kcp

W win2K may be a member server, but your PDC, can´t be a member server without lose the configuration, you will need to reinstall it.

You have the right idea. Install win2k as a member server, then install Exchange and make it a member of the Exchange site. Then move the mailboxes and public folders, etc to the new server. Then go about removing Exchange from your PDC.
