how do i get my files in win2k explorer to be listed by date in descending order (most recent files first)? i have just migrated from win98SE, where listing the files by date put them in descending order. Win2k seems to do it the other way around - ascending - which means i have to scroll over to my most recent files.

In the "Details" view clicking the "Modified" column at the top will re-sort in descending date, click it again - ascending, etc. Heath

unfortunately, this puts all the folders at the end of the list. previously in win98, if i arranged by date, regardless of ascdending or descending order, the folders would be listed before the files...
