ok, here we go.
I've got 2, Windows 2000 servers on they're own domain (they're mailsweepers). For arguent sake, we'll call them mailsweeper 1 and mailsweeper2.
From mailsweeper2, I can run to mailsweeper 1, access shares and do what ever I want. I'm using an account with domain admin rights.
From mailsweeper1, I can't run to mailsweeper2 and weirdly, I can't even run to itself. Both servers are pingable from mailsweeper1, but I can't run to it.
Any ideas?

Make sure that both servers are pointed to the same DNS/WINS and that each can name resolve the other.

sorry, when I say, they;re on their pwn domain, I meant, they're both on the same domain, but with no other servers.
As for dns / wins: The dns servers are slightly different due the incoming mailsweeper needs to be internet facing.
They can ping each other so the name can be reolved to IP so that doesn't seem to be an issue.
Someone suggested to me today that because they both have 2 connections, one for internal one for external that the connections are being read the wrong way arounf somehow and when trying to run to a local server (ie from msw1 to msw2) it's trying to go external. any truth in this?
