Win2003 SP1 downoad speed decrease

Hello to all,

I hope someone might steer me in the right direction, we are running a site with Windows2003 Web Version.

We have 100Mbps connection and do large file transfers, we were getting 1.2Mbytes - 750Kbyte data transers and then all of a sudden the best transfer rates we can get are in the 620-640Kb range.

This is on a new install, and nothing was changed. Can / does anyone have any input why all of a sudden to the diminished speed. We have checked all lines, pings are great, netstats, etc are great...

Okay did that and no difference what so ever.

Have your network switch port and network card configuration been forced to the same speed and duplex?
