Win XP VPN Disconnect Problems

I am using two portables to connect to an office network via vpn. The link is ADSL into a Vigor2600 ADSL router.

Both laptops are running XP. One works fine, the other disconnects randomly after about 1-2 mins

Any ideas ?

It seems to be a known issue between XP and VPN...
Look at Microsoft Knowledge Database :

I have fixed it !

Turn off XP's own firewall !
