Win XP Home, IE 6.0 Browser Runs Like A Snail 1

G'day,

I have plenty of RAM, ran all the ad=aware, spy-bot, scan disk, defrag, dumped the temp files, but my browser is so slow in opening a new window or transitioning to a different site. Shouldn't a new window open when I tick on a URL for another site?

In case this part of the problem, Win Xp is slow at Start-Up.
