I continue to receive a BSOD as a result of several different error messages. Most common is an IRQL_NOT_EQUAL..etc
I am being advised that I have some device driver out of wack. I have reinstalled on several occasions. The problem looked to be isolated to the nvidia OEM video driver.
Last night I stumbled upon some Windows XP updates that were particular for some of the hardware on my machine. After switching from the nvidia to an ATI card, Update discovered that there was an ATI and NEC LCD1712 (my monitor) update available. I was able to download and install these without the machine crashing. It WOULD NOT install the NEC lcd1712 driver. As a matter of fact the machine will only detect a Plug and Play monitor and will and says that there was trouble installing any drivers.
Any ideas or experience with this issue.
