win api fail - after multiple clients (delphi- doa 3.4)

Hi all,

I have developed an application in borland delphi 5.0,
which uses direct oracle access components to access the oracle server. it works fine for 9-10 clients but after that it says "win api fails" and stops working. unless you delete any clients, nothing works. Is there any restriction on no of clients of oracle/ Idapi object. How it is related to win api fails? Please help.

Have you checked to find out how many Oracle client licenses are installed in the Oracle DataBase? Sound to me like you might have only 10 User Access Licenses setup on the db system.
