Win 98 disk cleanup Cleanmgr "illegal operation" message

after running disk cleanup, I am getting this message within the disk cleanup window, in a sub window titled "Cleanmgr": "This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down. If the problem persists, contact the program vendor." When I click "ok", nothing spectacular happens, and everything runs as normal. Is there any way to eliminate this minor annoyance?

Hi...

IMHO, Disk Cleanup is crap - it's occasionally unstable, and there are plenty of better freebie/cheap replacements out there (EasyCleaner, UnInstaller, et al)...ditch it and get you a good manager...
