I am working in a peer to peer network. I have a mixed set of clients 98, ME, XP Pro, XP Home. Right now I can see all shared printers from the XP Computers, I have some shared on computers and some on Jet Directs. The problem is one printer shared off a XP Pro machine. I can see the shared printer and files from XP Machines but when I switch to Win98/ME I can only see the shared files. I cannot see the printer. Currently running TCP\IP mainly. Any ideas? I also have a XP Pro machine with Sharing setup but cannot see it on the network, cannot even ping it. It can see everything else?

Thanks

Terrel

Might try installing NetBuei on the XP box and the box in question.

I have Netbuei installed on the Win98 but cannot find to install on the Xp Pro machine. It is not listed in the protocals section.

Thanks

Thanks I did not think about the lenght of the shared printer name.
