Ive got a problem here. Everytime I start up my rig right after boot-up when the Windows 2000 screen comes up it hangs for about one and a half minutes.

This happened on another machine I used to have.

Is there a fix for this?

AMD 2000XP, Chieftec Black Droagin, 80GB HD, 512 Corsair RAM. Win.2K.

Any takers on this one? This seems to be a problem and have been searching for a fix for this for ages.

i also have a problem just like that

try to partition the HD and install a new one (WIN2k)

and do you have a processor upgrade?
