Win 2K Outlook Express crashes

Outlook Express has taken to frequently crashing while I'm in the middle of composing a message. Also sometimes at startup (though not every time) I'm asked to insert the windows CD so that the system can replace files that have been changed. It doesn't help, since MSOE continues to crash and I continue to have to insert the CD.
I've just finished a lengthy re-install of Windows, from scratch, which has otherwise gone excellently. I'm running Win2Kpro SP3, MSOE and MSIE 6.0.

Here is a link on how to unistall outlook and reinstall this fixs allot of these corruption bugs like the one you are describing. Make sure to backup your outlook data first.

Have you installed any 3rd party Internet software, this can easily overwrite files which means W2k has tries to reinstall them. Uninstall any 3rd part stuff and see how it goes
