Will Micros Express Station 400 work on RES 3700 5.2 win 7? 1

Hello! Running a highly custom res 3700 5.2 server win 7, which will be difficult
to upgrade to 5.7. Wanted to change our kitchen to kds and looking at the express Station 400 but wasn’t sure if it was supported. Our Micros rep says it isn’t, but he also said workstation 6’s wouldn’t work either, but they do. Any input would be appreciated!

Running Win 10 on multiple 2015ws... The hardware is capable, the drivers for the OS are hard to find.

Its doable, and can keep your place in PCI compliance with really old hardware. But lack of support will find most looking for an over all replacement in the near future.

I have not tested them but they should work just as win32 devices. Get the windows 10 ones and not the Linux though. Maybe grab one and test it.

You can install the POS Software Client on every Windows 10 PC.
If you use the Local Printer with TCP/IP or Serial you will have no issues.

IDN is specific and WILL not work on a normal PC.
Peripheral devices can work if a OPOS driver exist. Like CustomerDisplays, CashDrawer, Barcode Scanner, Magnet Stripe Reader etc....
