Will BE 9.x work with NetWare 3.2? 1

Currently running BE for Windows Server 8.6 (running on NT4 Server) which can backup/restore a NetWare 3.2 server. Just bought a larger capacity tape drive which requires BE 9.x, but 9.x doesn't "support" old NetWare. Support aside, will it work? Need to keep the NW3.2 going for another six months, but want to put the larger device to work now. Thanks!

I think it will work as the Remote Agent for Netware is the exact same one as what ships with BE 9.x

You're probably right -- it's just not "supported", but neither is half the stuff at this company . . .

The agent does work. I'm using it and have been for a long time since 9.0 came out. I'm also backing up Netware 3.2. (Yeah - it's old but NEVER, EVER breaks)!!

Thanks, that's good to know, though the new DAT drive is working w/BE8.6. Yes, NW 3.2 is so solid -- not looking forward to replacing it.
