After replacing an NT4 server, I've installed the existing ARCserve 6.5 for NT on the new Windows 2000 Server. It *seems* to be working ok, but I wonder if there's trouble down the road. I've seen references in these posts to a patch to make 6.5 compat with windows 2k, but I can't find anything like that at CA's website. The rep I talked to said I would need to upgrade to v9 - seems like a lot of expense for a single file server in a small office, especially if there's nothing really wrong with 6.5. Does anyone know precisely where that patch can be found, or if/why it is necessary? Thanks.
