Will AIN Licence work without expansion license on Mitel A470

Hi,
We have 2 Mitel A-470 systems which needs to be configured in a Master- Satellite environment .
At present both the systems have 60 days trial licenses activated on them .Of these 2 systems one system has expansion license which we are configuring as satellite system.
The second system doesn't have expansion license and this system has to be configured as Master.
We have been provided AIN license but that has been clubbed to second system that doesn't have expansion license.
Therefore,we want your opinion whether we can apply this AIN license to the second system and need to activate expansion license first on 2nd system(PBX).

They way I understood it is that you only license one system. Is there a reason why you can't have the 1st system as the master?

You will need the expansion license on the master system or it will only allow 36 users.

Actually by mistake AIN license is already mapped with EID of second system.
Is it possible to transfer that license from 2nd System EID to 1st one???
without expansion license can i activate the AIN license on Mitel A470???

Pretty sure you don't need an expansion license to use AIN.

But as per A470 Manual, In an AIN with A470 as a master, A470 expansion licence is required for master.

OK, I guess you need to either change which is the master or get an expansion license.
Can't say that I've done enough of these to be sure what is needed.

Maybe contact Mitel to see if they can move the licensing associated to the SysID.

After activation of AIN Licence on second system(without expansion licence system) , can i clubbed both the system as master-Satellite & use expansion licence from Satellite system ?

1st system have 48 Extns(with expansion Lic.)-Satellite
2nd system have 50 Extns(without expansion Lic.)-Master

It may be best to talk to Mitel as I'm not 100% sure on this.

I thought the idea was to assign all licensing to the master system except for resources (DSP's)
The satellite would just connect to the master. You would only need to have local licenses on the satellite if it was to go offline from the master.

The expansion is to allow more than 36 users.
In my mind this would have to be assigned to the master system.

As I said I could be wrong, have a chat to Mitel to confirm.
