I have a customer with a few sites that would like to activate the Auto Attendent (AA) and use the CCR tree to transfer calls to another location utilizing the transfer festure supplied by the CO line so that they do not need additional lines . The transfer feature supplied by the phone company requires you to hook flash while on the call and dial the # you would like the call transfered to .

Thanks in advance,

Yes
In case you need:
Go to F983/OTHER/CCR/Path X/Set to Tranfer/External

Try pounds in dialing string:
#(XXX)XXX-XXXX#

I keep forgetting that this forum is for both Key and PBX Call Pilots.
I was referring to Norstar Call Pilot now called Messaging 100/150

to do a link transfer you need to have a # sign in front of the number if going through the telset functions (feature 983)

dial #532 then the number this puts a #sign and a pause before the number

this can even be used when setting up the dial 7 in the mailboxes,(outbound dial)

note:if not on a line the call will be placed as normal

just be sure link feature is on the co line

to err is human
to really f things up requires a computer

when setting it up it asks for an access code (Line Pool) but we need to stay on the same line and not grab another ??

it does not matter, put in the line pool

if it sees the #sign it will do a link transfer
