If you tracert to one of our external IPs – you get a double hit or duplicate on the last hop. Does anyone know why this might be happening? EIGRP is running on the routers!

So to clarify the same ip address appears twice? I would connect to the router closet to the workstation and issue the following command.

show ip route x.x.x.x

Where x.x.x.x is the external ip

Yes the last hop IP address (our Public carriers address) is appearing twice. I thought it may be a routing loop. Is there anything else I can do to troubleshoot as I dont have access to the router?

Thanks!!
