Crystal 9, Oracle 9

I have HP 3500 CP installed as a printer driver to accommodate wide design of some export formats. The limit to this 'printer' is 108 inches, not 108 ft as some posts here have indicated. I may soon be reaching this limit. Is there another driver that allows for a wider area or some other factor in the setup that will extend it?

I need to make the field columns as wide as the values are to avoid truncation or wrapping in Excel. Thanks for any advice.

I'm not aware of a better choice for a printer but may I ask what is the end use for this spreadsheet? Is it going to be used by users to look at data? If you clarify the end use, we may be able to suggest a better approach.

Cheers,

Users will look at this report, sort it in a variety of ways, and further manipulate the data. Previously, export to Excel extended allowed me to make each column the same 1/4 inch length and the fields would expand as needed. I'm told that Crystal 10 does not support Excel extended. With Crystal 9, Excel (not extended) does not accommodate the values but truncates them. Using 'can grow' moves data down and creates unwanted rows in the Excel output.

Consider giving the users an excel pivot table instead of direct access to the raw data. Through the Pivot Table, they can always drill-down to the raw data when needed.
