I currently own a laptop, and I have one USB port in the back. This only recently became a problem, when I needed to plug in more than one peripheral. Anyway, I bought a 4 port USB Hub, at CompUSA. Now let me describe my situation... I use the @home cable modem service in my house, and rather than buying a 10/100 Ethernet PCMCIA card for my laptop, I am using a network_cable-2-usb_cable adapter that @home gave me, so that I can connect to the internet. For some odd reason, I am able to not only connect to the internet using this device, but also the other users on my home network. Well back to the USB Hub, I plugged in my digital camera to one of the hub's ports, and this usb cable from the @home device to another port. But now the internet/network won't work. Then, when i took it out of the hub, and plugged it back directly into the computer it worked fine again. If anyone is familiar with this @home device as well, and has any idea what I am talking about... any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks a lot,
Bobby Gordon
