why the table bihaviour is not reliable

1.After I fill a dbcombobox the records from the original table are doubled.(not using sql, not using table event, using delphi5 and paradox tables)
2.Another case: after posting new record(s), at few new execution of program they not appear (because not existing) (the same conditions as above)

Are u using table component with CacheUpdate property set to true?
if yes then you've to call ApplyUpdates and CommitUpdates for that table component.
