Why sometimes we receive an e-mail with name in between single quotations marks and in the same e-mail, others names are in double quotations marks. Is it depend about the e-mail server ?
I believe they are simply different protocol standards e.g. internet e-mail standards for SMTP, Mime, POP and IMAP LAN e-mail standards for cc:MAIL, MS Mail etc.
I'll do some experimentation and wait to see if other forem members have a more positive answer.
This has nothing got to do with your Outlook or Exchange but rather the sender's...
It has to do with the fact that the sender has either specified a full email address and type it in, or has the email as a display name. This is just Outlooks way of seperating the actual name or display name from the address.
