Why my pix 525 always in standby mode?

Can anyone tell me how to configure my pix to active mode. I already configure my pix with "failover active" command but after i reboot it just go back to standby mode.

I am new to pix firewall.

Please help....

If memory serves me right you cannot do this with code 6.x, which means you need code 7.0, the firewall also needs to be configured in multiple context mode, someone please correct me if I'm wrong

hmm. Is this a stand alone pix? What type of license do you have?

oops..i know why already. The two pix fw have standby license. That why although i configure the failover active, the pix will go back to standby mode after 24 hour or reboot.
