I have windows98 and my C drive says I have about 3.90gigs. But when I try and install something it says i dont have enough space, so I really only have like 500 megs. Can anyone help?

Please post some information back please.

> Question: What is the ACTUAL free space on your HD ?
Go into Windows Explorer; look at your C drive; R click on the C drive; choose properties

That will show your C drive in a Pie Chart, and show you how much real open space you have.

If it is only 500 MB's, I'm sure that you can find plenty of old junk to get rid of.

>Start with your Temporary Internet files.
> C:\Windows\TEMP folder would be next
> Recycle Bin

> Uninstall any unused programs.
> Run scan disk and DEFRAG
> Try again.
