Why is 'ctrl+G' under notepad..edit grayed out on me?

My company has a testing server running on XP professional service pack II + IE7. The odd thing is that 'ctrl+G' under notepad..edit grayed out ONLY on my account. The rest of my co-workers do not have this problem. Our admin has no clue what is going on.

Could someone here give me some advice? Many thanks.

It is disabled if Word Wrap is enabled.
