Why is Access 97 so Dumb on Debugging?!!!

I'm getting so frustrated working with this program sometimes - but it's what my company has and we aren't going to upgrade.

Anywho, I keep debugging the modules and making the proper changes then saving the modules and forms - but I go into the file a little later and all the debugging I did NEVER SAVED!!! It's really getting irritating when I have to make the same changes five or six times, seriously.

Is there something I'm doing wrong?

Maybe one way to alleviate this problem is before you close the code, stop the debugging process by hitting the stop button. Then try saving your code, close it, then open it again to see if the changes saved.
